Braised Chicken with Green Onion

Ingredients:

  • Fresh chicken leg, cut into pieces
  • 1 spoonful of cooking wine
  • 1 spoonful of starch
  • 1/2 spoonful of salt
  • 1/2 spoonful of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 spoonful of oyster sauce
  • 1/2 spoonful of white sugar
  • Chopped green onions

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Chicken: Cut the fresh chicken leg into pieces. In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with 1 spoonful of cooking wine, 1 spoonful of starch, 1/2 spoonful of salt, and 1/2 spoonful of black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 20 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 1 spoonful of oyster sauce, and 1/2 spoonful of white sugar. Set aside.
  3. Stir-fry the Chicken: Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken pieces and stir-fry until they turn golden brown.
  4. Add the Sauce: Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken. Stir-fry until the chicken is evenly coated with the sauce and the sauce starts to thicken.
