Homemade Breakfast Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- 12 English muffins
- 12 pork sausage patties (Kroger brand or any preferred brand)
- 12 eggs
- 12 slices of cheese (your choice, such as American, cheddar, or Swiss)
- Olive oil (for coating molds)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (375°F if using a convection oven).
- Prepare the Eggs:
- Lightly coat egg molds or muffin tins with olive oil.
- Crack one egg into each mold.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 17 minutes for fully cooked yolks (less time for runny yolks).
- Cook the Sausage Patties:
- Place the pork sausage patties on a sheet pan.
- Cook in the oven according to package instructions or until fully cooked.
- Assemble the Sandwiches:
- Split and lightly toast the English muffins.
- Place one cooked sausage patty on the bottom half of each muffin.
- Add a baked egg on top of each sausage patty.
- Place a slice of cheese over the egg.
- Top with the other half of the English muffin.
- Wrap and Store:
- Wrap each assembled sandwich in plastic wrap or aluminum foil.
- Store in the freezer.
- Reheat:
- When ready to eat, unwrap the sandwich and wrap it in a paper towel.
- Microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds. (Adjust time as needed based on your microwave’s power.)
