This Beef Stew is my absolute go-to when I want a hearty, comforting meal that everyone will rave about. Tender chunks of beef, rich flavors, and a savory broth make it perfect for family dinners or gatherings. Once you try it, you’ll understand why it’s a favorite!

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds beef stew meat
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon seasoning salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Beef: Toss the beef stew meat in a mixture of flour and seasoning salt until well coated.
  2. Brown the Meat: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the beef and brown on all sides. Remove the beef and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Onion: In the same pot, add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Deglaze and Combine: Return the beef to the pot. Add bay leaves, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Simmer: Add enough beef broth to cover the meat. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours or until the beef is tender and the flavors are well combined.
