Sticky Honey-Glazed Baked Chicken Breasts

Drizzle the chicken with olive oil.

Combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.

Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken.

For even better flavor, let the seasoned chicken rest for 20–30 minutes.

3. Make the Glaze

In a bowl, whisk together:

Honey

Soy sauce

Ketchup

Minced garlic

Apple cider vinegar

Brown sugar

Dijon mustard

Smoked paprika

Red pepper flakes

Mix until smooth.

4. Coat the Chicken

Pour about two-thirds of the glaze over the chicken breasts, turning them gently so they’re well coated.

Reserve the remaining glaze for later.

5. Bake

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.

Bake for approximately 25–30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the chicken.

Halfway through cooking, spoon some of the sauce from the bottom of the dish over the chicken.

6. Add More Glaze

During the final 5–10 minutes, brush the chicken generously with the reserved glaze.

Return it to the oven and continue baking until the surface becomes deeply caramelized and glossy.

The chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) at the thickest part.
