Braised Chicken with Green Onion
This green onion is the soul of this dish!
Ingredients:
- Fresh chicken leg, cut into pieces
- 1 spoonful of cooking wine
- 1 spoonful of starch
- 1/2 spoonful of salt
- 1/2 spoonful of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 spoonful of oyster sauce
- 1/2 spoonful of white sugar
- Chopped green onions
Instructions:
- Marinate the Chicken: Cut the fresh chicken leg into pieces. In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with 1 spoonful of cooking wine, 1 spoonful of starch, 1/2 spoonful of salt, and 1/2 spoonful of black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 20 minutes.
- Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 1 spoonful of oyster sauce, and 1/2 spoonful of white sugar. Set aside.
- Stir-fry the Chicken: Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken pieces and stir-fry until they turn golden brown.
- Add the Sauce: Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken. Stir-fry until the chicken is evenly coated with the sauce and the sauce starts to thicken.
- Finish with Green Onions: Add the chopped green onions to the pan and stir-fry evenly. Cover the pan and let it simmer for 1 minute.
