Ingredients:

Crust:

  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip)

Lemon Pudding Layer:

  • 2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant lemon pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk

Topping:

  • 2 cups whipped topping (Cool Whip)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, melted butter, and powdered sugar. Mix until well combined.
    • Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
    • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Let it cool completely.
  2. Cream Cheese Layer:
    • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
    • Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.

    • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant lemon pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes, until thickened.
    • Spread the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Topping:
    • Spread the remaining whipped topping evenly over the lemon pudding layer.
  5. Chill and Serve:
    • Refrigerate the Lemon Lush Dessert for at least 2 hours, or until set.
    • Before serving, you can garnish with lemon zest or slices, if desired.
