Pink Lemonade
Ingredients:
- 1 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water (for simple syrup)
- 2 cups cold water
- 1 cup cranberry juice or pomegranate juice (for color)
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)
- Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Make the Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and 1/2 cup water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Prepare the Lemonade Base: In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice and the cooled simple syrup. Stir well.
- Add Color and Water: Pour in the cranberry juice or pomegranate juice and the 2 cups of cold water. Stir until well mixed.
