Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) spaghetti sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 1 package (16 oz) spaghetti
  • Grated cheddar cheese, for topping

Directions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the Spaghetti:
    • Boil the spaghetti noodles in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Cook the Beef:
    • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease. Add the jar of spaghetti sauce to the beef and stir to combine. Set aside.
  4. Prepare the Cheese Mixture:
    • In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until well blended.
  5. Assemble the Casserole:
    • In a 9×13-inch baking dish, place half of the butter, cut into small pieces, at the bottom.
    • Add half of the cooked spaghetti noodles over the butter.
    • Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the noodles.
    • Place the remaining butter pieces over the cheese mixture.
    • Add the remaining noodles on top of the cheese mixture.
    • Pour the meat sauce over the top, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
  7. Add Cheese:
    • Remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top.
    • Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve:
