Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably seasoned)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Bread the Pork Chops:
    • In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley.
    • Brush both sides of the pork chops with olive oil.
    • Press each pork chop into the breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides thoroughly. Press down firmly to help the breadcrumbs adhere.
  4. Bake the Pork Chops:
    • Place the breaded pork chops on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Drizzle the melted butter over the top of each pork chop.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the breadcrumb coating is golden brown and crispy.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
