Homemade Ice Cream with Only 3 Ingredients

Homemade Ice Cream with Only 3 Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy cream (cold)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (or any other flavoring of your choice)

Instructions:

  1. Whip the Cream:
    • In a large mixing bowl, pour the cold heavy cream.
    • Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer, whip the cream on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form. This usually takes about 3-5 minutes. Be careful not to overwhip the cream, as it can turn into butter.
  2. Combine Ingredients:
    • Once the cream is whipped, gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Use a spatula to mix until just combined. Be gentle to maintain the airiness of the whipped cream.
  3. Add Flavorings (Optional):
    • If you’d like to add any additional flavorings or mix-ins (such as chocolate chips, crushed cookies, fruit, or nuts), gently fold them into the mixture at this stage.
  4. Freeze:
    • Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Smooth out the top with a spatula.
    • Cover the container with plastic wrap or a lid to prevent ice crystals from forming.
    • Place the container in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 6 hours or until completely firm.
  5. Serve:
    • Once the ice cream is fully frozen, scoop and serve! You can enjoy it plain or with your favorite toppings.

Tips:

  • For best results, make sure the heavy cream is very cold before whipping.
  • You can experiment with different flavors by substituting the vanilla extract with other extracts or adding mix-ins.

Enjoy your creamy, homemade ice cream!
