Homemade Beef Lo Mein
### Ingredients:
– **Chuck roast** (thinly sliced)
– **Broccoli crowns** (cut into florets)
– **Carrots** (thinly sliced)
– **Oil** (for cooking)
– **2-3 tbsp Corn starch**
– **Fresh Lo Mein noodles** (or spaghetti noodles if unavailable)
– **2 tsp Sesame oil**
– **2 tsp Black pepper**
– **1 tsp Salt**
– **2 tsp Sugar**
– **3 cloves Garlic** (minced)
– **1 tbsp Ginger** (minced)
– **3 tbsp Oyster sauce**
– **2 tbsp Hoisin sauce**
– **2 tbsp Sweet soy sauce**
### Directions:
1. **Prepare the Beef**: Thinly slice the chuck roast into strips. In a bowl, mix the beef with corn starch and set it aside.
2. **Prep the Veggies**: Cut the broccoli and carrots, and have them ready for cooking.
3. **Make the Sauce**: In a separate bowl, mix together the oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sweet soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Set this aside.
4. **Cook the Beef**: Heat a pan on medium-high heat until it’s slightly smoking. Add a couple of tablespoons of oil and sear the beef for 3-5 minutes. Once cooked, remove the beef from the pan and set it aside.
5. **Stir-Fry the Vegetables**: In the same pan, add another two tablespoons of oil. Add the garlic, ginger, and vegetables. Stir-fry on medium heat until the vegetables are tender.
6. **Combine Noodles and Beef**: Add the cooked noodles and beef back into the pan. Mix everything well from the bottom up for about a minute, then cover the pan for a couple of minutes to let the flavors meld.
7. **Add the Sauce**: Pour the sauce mixture into the pan, stir well, and continue to stir-fry for another minute.
8. **Serve and Enjoy**: Plate your Beef Lo Mein and enjoy your homemade meal!
