### Ingredients:

– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1/2 cup sugar

– 1/2 cup brown sugar

– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 2 large eggs

– 1/2 cup vegetable oil

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained

– 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

 

### Instructions:

 

1. **Preheat Oven**: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.

 

2. **Mix Dry Ingredients**: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

 

3. **Mix Wet Ingredients**: In another bowl, beat the eggs. Add the vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and crushed pineapple (with juice) to the eggs, and mix well.

 

4. **Combine**: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. If using, fold in the chopped nuts.
